![]() On my laptop, running Vista the Sil3132 on an expresscard comes up as storage controller, SATAlink and has the drive info under the device info and it appears in the disk drives as an OAS SCSI disk device. If I allow it to update drivers automaticallyfrom that state it loads the SoftRaid5 driver and states it is "working properly"! However under the controller properties there is no Device under device info. If I force it to the SATAlink controller drivers (the only difference is that si3132.sys driver is installed rather than si3132r5.sys) then I get an error on the device manager with a Code 10 that the device cannot start. I have tried the drivers which came with the disk and also the SIL ones. I think my main problem is the SoftRAID5 installation but it seems to default to that!
